Happy Birthday Lily!

Lily turned one! Her birthday is June 2- but we celebrated it a bit late- Lily had a rough birthday! She woke up the day before her party with a crazy high fever- we could hardly keep it down- so I took her in to the after hours clinic. She had a really bad double ear infection- so we got her on some antibiotics and rescheduled her party. She had a fever all week and was in a bunch of pain- poor thing!
So we had her party a few days late- she was much happier- but still not herself (we went back in for her one year old check up a week later and she still had the infection).
So here is her party! She is so sweet! Our little sunshine!


At her one year check up she weighed 21.2lbs (70%), 31 inches (90%) for height, and her head circ was 47 (90%). It's looking like she is going to be tall.

We had a cupcake cake- it turned out pretty cute!

Here she is opening presents- with the help from her sisters and a few cousins.

She didn't blow out her candle- even thought she can- she just wasn't in the mood.

After a bit she finally dug in- and loved her cake! She is such a blessing in our lives and brings us all so much joy! And she really is such a trooper! Her first year was a bit rough- she has been to so many doctors appointments in her first year- between my little health scare and her helmet! She came with me everywhere- to most of my appointments when I was sick- she lived in that car seat- and she was always so good! And she was so sweet with her helmet!

She is so much fun and is always trying to be happy- not matter what is going on! We just love her!
